Bridge United B have had a fixture filled fortnight which has now left them in a great position to finish the season on a high. Billy Maxwells forces contest the Division 2 Cup on Friday evening when they take on Manus Celtic.

The 'Bs' won their semi final on Monday evening when they beat Shannon Town in a fiercly contested game with goals from Eric Carr and Kieran Quinlan sealing the win.

Kickoff on Friday is at 6.30 in Frank Healy Park.

Having finished joint 2nd in the second division the B team will also have the opportunity to be promoted when they face Hermitage FC in the playoff final next Wednesday evening at 6.30 also in Frank Healy Park.

Having already won the Shield competition at the start of the season the next couple of games offers the opportunity to round the season of in stlye.
