In parallel with the return of fine weather the club had many groups in action over the weekend.

Kicking off on Saturday morning our Under 10 Boys won Silver medals in the community games indoor soccer.

On Sunday morning our U11 Boys enjoyed a competitive blitz with hosts Tulla and neighbours Shannon Hibs.

 

Youths Cup 1/4 Final

Avenue United - 0

Our Youths continued their recent fine form with a very impressive 4-0 win against league leaders Avenue United in the Quarter Final of the Clare Cup. Jordan Downes scored his third youths hattrick in a row with Jack Corry scoring a fourth to secure the home sides place in the semi final. Waiting in the semi final will be Kilmihil outfiit St Pats.

Bridge United A - 3

On Sunday our A team made the visit to Lahinch for the second week in a row, this time their opponants were Moher Celtic. An early Tadgh Keogh goal settled the visitors, however the game proved to be a very difficult and physical fixture with both teams battling hard on a difficult playing surface.

Bridge had to wait until the final 10 minutes before putting the game to bed with Eoghan Pewter and the Brian Corry securing the victory.

Moher Celtic B - 1

2 goals a piece from Jason Loughnane and Trevor Purcell secured Bridge B'S route to the last 16 of this years Clare Cup competition. Premier side Kilrush Rangers await in the next round where Bridge will again enjoy home advantage and will relish their chances of an upset.
